Circuit Description


The engine oil burn valve solenoid driver controls the flow of oil in the oil control valve during the burn cycle.


Component Location


Refer to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) service manual for the engine oil burn valve solenoid driver location.


Shop Talk

This fault code can be caused by the following:


  • A damaged Centinelâ„¢ burn valve

  • An open circuit in the output device driver return wire

  • A pin-to-pin short in the output device driver wire.
